Questions

The questions that come first

How far in advance should we enquire?

As soon as the date and the venue are set. With about a year of lead time, the decisions on the running order fall one by one; shorter works too. We take no more than 40 evenings a year — send us your date and we will tell you whether it is open.

How do you host in two languages without tiring the guests?

We do not translate line by line. The set-up runs in one language, the punchline lands in the other; games and handovers alternate on purpose. Only what a guest needs in order to join in is said twice: names, times, rules.

What determines the price?

The cast (hosting alone or with DJ, saxophone and light), the length of the evening, the travel, the equipment we bring into the room. Preparation is part of every package and does not follow the guest count. The packages show the range; the exact figure comes with the offer for your date.

Do you travel outside your region?

Yes, anywhere in Germany. Travel is calculated by the kilometre and listed separately; beyond roughly three hours we add a hotel night, so nobody drives after the evening. Weddings abroad we look at case by case.

What happens if someone on the team falls ill?

The running order exists in writing, not only in one person's head. For hosting, DJ and saxophone, fixed colleagues step in with the same documents: your tracks, the names, the cues, the order. You hear it from us, with a name — not in the room on the night.

Can we see you work before we book?

Honest answer: we have no video of our own and no published weddings. The images here set a mood; they are not our evenings. A wedding is a private evening — we show one only once the couple agrees. Instead: 45 minutes on a video call, a running order for your evening. You hear how the hosting sounds.

How do the deposit and cancellation work?

The contract holds your date; the deposit secures it and counts towards the total. The balance is due before the evening — dates and amounts sit in the contract, not in small print. If you withdraw, a sliding scale applies: the closer to the date, the larger the retained share.
